SonTek/YSI, a thriving manufacturer of high quality acoustic Doppler instruments used for water velocity and flow measurement, is presently seeking an energetic individual to join our San Diego-based team!
This position will work in our Technical Support department, providing professional first order response to post-sales customer service needs. Qualified candidate will work closely with all facets of the company and will be involved in analyzing customer data, coordination of service requests and handling customer inquiries, among other tasks. Outstanding customer support is embedded in SonTek’s strategies and tactics and has been a large reason for our success. The role of this position is to make it easier for the customer to do business with us and also leverage information tools to provide consistent and efficient best-in-class support to our global customers.
Major Responsibilities:
-High level post-sales customer support relating to applications of SonTek products.
-Authoring, coordinating or participating in production of technical notes and manuals related to specific products or applications.
-Assisting in new product testing.
-Ensuring that information regarding product defects or other failures relative to quality is properly given to operations/engineering.
-Developing appropriate customer training materials related to post-sales customer support.
-Traveling to customer sites for training or demonstrations as appropriate.
-Attending relevant trade shows or conferences. Authoring or coordinating submission of papers and technical presentations
